Mag. art. Dávid Paška
born in Bratislava / Slovakia is a theatre director, playwright, and writer.
In 2022 he finished his directing studies at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and since then he focuses himself to directing modern, his own and also classical works on an international level.
His production of Nathalie Sarraute's "The Silence" was included in the festival "Körber Studio Junge Regie 2022" and the world premiere of Thomas Perle's play "ein jedermann" at the romanian Teatrul National Radu Stanca was included in the program of the international theater festival FITS (2022).
In the season 2022/2023 he with his permanent artistic team (stage design: Julius Leon Seiler, costume design: Maria-Lena Poindl) first premiered his own new play based on the motifs of Čapek's R.U.R. called "NAT.U.R.AL" in Linz, in which a Boston Dynamics robot was integrated into the production. The premiere (03/2023) of Schiller's "Don Carlos" in the Kasematten Wiener Neustadt under Wortwiege received very positive reviews from Austrian critics and audiences.
He is currently working on several new projects - in Austria, Romania, Poland, and Slovakia.
In 2021 his collection of poems "Nomos Črepín a Vrások" was published.
